The sedan comes with three types of engines: the 2.0 litre SOHC i-VTEC engine, 2.4 litre DOHC i-VTEC engine and the 3.5 litre V6 i-VTEC VCM engine. *Combined with the VCM Technology, a system that activates and deactivates the engine's cylinders, it meets the demand of both acceleration and fuel savings faithfully.

The look of the new Accord pleases the eye as well as providing greater aerodynamic efficiency. And a nearly flat bottom is achieved by positioning the stamped steel frame rails above and inside the sedan's body. This improves fuel mileage and reduces interior noise from undercarriage air turbulence.
